Our brand focuses on the use and promotion of hemp and linen materials, two of the most durable and sustainable fibres on earth.

 Environmental benefits on Hemp:

Hemp removes large amounts of CO2 from the atmosphere

Hemp has been scientifically proven to absorb more CO2 per hectare than any forest or commercial crop, making it one of the most sustainable fibres on earth

Hemp requires less water to grow

Hemp is an extremely durable and quick growing crop. These sturdy plants need minimal water - about a third that of organic cotton, while taking as little as 90 days to cultivate

Hemp benefits the soil

Hemp doesn’t deplete soil properties and can restore vital nutrients back to the soil replenishing its fertility for a richer yield the following year

Cultivation of hemp requires minimal toxic chemicals, pesticides or insecticides.

Leaf shedding provides the soil with adequate fertilisation and hemp is a natural weed suppressant due to the rapid growth of its canopy. Using very few chemicals in production minimises the release of harmful greenhouse gases into the atmosphere and protects waterways from pollution

Hemp requires less land to grow

Hemp can produce three times more fibre than cotton on the same land

Environmental benefits of Linen:

Linen comes from the flax plant, and is one of the most sustainable and durable fabrics on earth, yet it represents less than a few percent of all textile fabrics consumed worldwide

Linen leaves minimal  waste

The entire flax plant can be woven into a fibre, which means that almost no waste is left over from the spinning and weaving process

Linen requires less fertilisers or pesticides

Linen grows easily in most soil types. Like hemp, it has very few natural enemies, making the use of pesticides obsolete and the requirement for fertilisers far less than cotton

Linen's durability means each piece lasts longer and reduces waste

Linen is known to be one of the strongest natural fibre in the world. This means each piece lasts longer, reducing waste and promoting a more sustainable fashion industry

Less water to grow

Like hemp, the linen production process has been found to be significantly less water intensive than traditional cotton, using less than 10% of the water required for cotton production

Low carbon footprint

Flax has a very low carbon footprint. Just one hectare of flax can take approximately 3.7 tonnes of CO2 out of the atmosphere

What makes these materials so perfect for hats?

It's not just the environmental benefits that make these materials such a good choice for hats and tees

Linen and Hemp soften over time

Our hemp and linen hats get better with age. One of the best things about these natural fibres is that they get softer and more comfortable over time, meaning your hats only getting better. We also love the aged look!

Naturally antimicrobial and antibacterial

Hemp and linen absorb moisture without holding bacteria. These fabrics are active against microbes in nature, helping your hats stay clean for longer periods and preventing them from developing odour causing bacteria

Breathable and highly absorbent

As linen and hemp fibres are hollow they allow more airflow over your body while at the same time being highly absorbent. This makes our hats perfect for sunny spells and warm getaways

Strong natural fibres

Your hats will last! Hemp and linen are two of the strongest fibres known on earth.
